Do females need to train differently?

The Camogie Association are delighted to release a series of Player Welfare resources, which cover topics including Female Athlete Training, Body Image, Coach Reflection, Nutrition, Coaching Practices and Person First Training.

This week we focus on the Female Athlete with David Nolan, Lecturer in the Department of Sport & Health at TUS.  Topics include menstrual cycle, male & female physiology, hormonal contraceptives and examining if female athletes have to train differently to their male counterparts.  We hope you enjoy the series.
